This professional reports directly to the GM and the Regional Director of Finance. This individual will function as the property’s strategic financial leader. They will be responsible for developing and implementing property wide strategies. They will also provide financial expertise to implement the brand service strategy and build brand initiatives and increase return of investment. The aim being to deliver great financial results.
This is a key role and you will be part of the Executive Committee.


Requirements:
4 year bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting / relate
Experience in a similar role in the Hospitality industry
Strong leadership skills, results driven and people orientate
Strong management experience
Suited to a fast paced, highly pressurised and changing environment
Proficiency in the follow Software Systems, VIP Payroll, Materials Control Procurement and Cost Control Systems, Micro Point of Sale and Opera / PMS, People Soft Oracle

Requirements:
Qualified Millwright - N4 Preferable
3 – 5 years manufacturing experience – PLC experience is an advantage

Liaise with operating staff in order to improve machine performance
Attend team meetings and contribute toward a process of continuous improvement

TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER – Processing

This position is within the Processing TS&S organisation. Reporting to the Processing Technical Sales and Service Manager your primary objective is to develop business with existing customers and establish new accounts within a designated area to achieve a budgeted sales target.
This is a local position based in Cape Town, South Africa and is a permanent position.

 

Responsibilities:
Driving the Processing TS&S portfolio in the market

Support in the development and the implementation of the TS&S Business Plan
Has accountability for the TS&S portfolio sales and profitability
You will need to maintain customer contact, secure orders, monitor and maintain current knowledge of new products, ensure complaints are dealt with expeditiously, communicate technical solutions through presentations, quotes and make recommendations to improve product or design

 

Key tasks for this job are:
Drives Deployment and Sales of the TS&S portfolio as defined
Deployment of structured customer visit plans.
Ownership and maintaining of Opportunities within TecBase
Proposes business plan and action plan
Drives implementation of business plan and review action plans for the TS&S portfolio
Ensures efficient promotion of customised solutions
Ensures effective cooperation and alignment with Market Area, Cluster and BU
Shares accountability for Customer Satisfaction results
Secures fast issue resolution and appropriate communication

Qualifications:

Matric / National qualification with mathematics

Liaise with the warehouse as to the estimate time of arrival (ETA) for backorders, always keeping the customer informed


Sales: 
Make outbound lead generation calls to prospective and existing customers to create new sales
Contact customers who have referred clients to us and thank them
Respond to phone, fax, email and web queries within 2 hours
Draft and complete quotes in line with quality management system
Follow up with the customer within 24hrs of sending the quotation 
Check stock availability when quoting products and take cognisance of availability in your region
Report your progress on weekly call sheets and activity logs
Participate in investigating and resolving customer queries


Administration
Order office and warehouse stationary 
Maintain customer files in an orderly manner in line with the quality management system
Provide administration support
