NQF 4 or similar related qualification
At least 5 years’ experience in similar role
MS Office proficient
Advanced knowledge of logistics functions
Advanced knowledge of route scheduling and planning 
Prepared to work irregular hours and overtime
Excellent interpersonal relationships
Technical knowledge of EHV’s 
Duties and responsibilities:
Plan and schedule vehicles and resources based on transport demand, daily and weekly
Ensure drivers comply with standards iro vehicle handling and customer relations
Support Manager MP Log in achieving SHE and quality standards
Manage volume variances on daily routes
Recon volumes delivered to and received at factories and other customers
Ensure that Logistic administration is done correctly – load and trip sheet capturing on ERPLX
Engage with customers and suppliers on a professional level
Ensure that turnaround times are strictly adhered to
Contribute to logistic budgets on request
Supply information for monthly reports
Conduct and assist with vehicle and tanker inspections

The SHEQ Officer will responsible for coordinating the Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, legal compliance programmes and related issues. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring that the business complies with all relevant SHEQ legislation, company policies and procedures, minimum requirements and permit requirements

Grade 12
Relevant Health and Safety tertiary qualification
5 years’ experience in construction and project management environment
Must be able to train and facilitate
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Literacy and numerical ability
Good interpersonal and communications skills
Have a resilient and energetic personality
Ability to perform under pressure
Conduct safety, health and risk assessments and audits
Complete incident investigations and collate SHE statistics
Conduct SHEQ inspections and ensure all employees comply with PPE requirements
Facilitate related training to employees
Share relevant information timeously with all concerned
Conduct SHE meetings and ensure all attendance  registers are signed and kept record of
Ensure that housekeeping requirements are met
Have sound knowledge and understanding of OHASA Act and relevant environmental legislation
Ensure systems and procedures are in place to identify and respond to quality failures or reports
Maintain existing quality management system
Ensure that relevant teams have training and manage quality management system
Ensure relevant processes are in place to support quality and quantity of the customer expectations
Develop a culture that incorporates environmental sustainability into all operations
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Identify regulatory gaps and implement measures to investigate and avoid
