A national technology company is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team. This role is unique in that while this is a national company, it is a small company that requires someone to carry out other duties not related purely to HR.  You will be required to work on the CRM system and also provide assistance to the Sales Director on adhoc duties.  This person will be trained on the CRM system and Marketing system, so no experience needed, must just have strong admin skills to handle these functions.
This person must have management experience, be a strong administrator, and have excellent Excel and people skills.
The HR function is more of an administrative nature than a full blown management nature but still remains a senior role within the company.
HR administration including employee contracts etc.
Labour issues – warnings
Arrange staff training
HR Procedures
Handle petty cash, business card orders, staff uniforms
Handle all Vehicle Branding, Cell Phone contracts
Overseeing Switchboard functions
Sales Director adhoc duties including some personal matters
CRM duties: Assist sales reps with CRM reports, maintenance of database, program IT problems, running reports, investigate differences between Accpac and CRM
Some HR certification would be an advantage but a matric is a bare minimum
Minimum of 5 years HR and Payroll experience (in a senior environment)
Payroll is handled by an outside company but this may change so this person must have some background of payroll
Management experience (Switchboard reports to this position and there is an employee in each branch that reports on leave and attendance to this person)
Strong Administration experience
Excellent people skills
Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
Own Driver’s licence and car

Matric qualification and a Logistics/Warehouse Diploma
Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor supervising staff
Forklift license
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of logistics (carriers, shipping policies & procedures)
Knowledge and experience of warehouse software packages
MS Office proficient
Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
Ability to manage inventory, including auditing, forecasting and planning
Understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
Technical expertise and knowledge of technical products (technical aptitude)
Supervising staff
Managing warehouse design and facilities
Implementing and maintaining safety initiatives
Operate forklift in compliance with OSHA requirements
Compliance with all employment laws, regulations & company policies

To meet or exceed the allocated sales budget by selling the employer’s products to existing customers and soliciting sales from potential new customers

Manage a group of customers to meet or exceed annual sales plan and allocated budget
Make outbound lead generation calls to prospective and existing customers to create new sales and upgrade sales opportunities
Routinely visit customers as per the allocated number of visits 
Building relationships with customers 
Prepare and deliver demonstrations and training as per customers’ requests 
Promote and arrange open days
Develop proposals in response to customer requests which market the employer’s products favourably 
Follow-up on and check dispatch orders, quotes, proposals, items in workshop for repairs

Take responsibility and manage consignment stock issued to your vehicle 
Follow-up and collect outstanding monies from customers who have defaulted on their payments or made short payments, while maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring the employer remains a client
Open cash accounts where applicable
Matric/National Qualification with mathematics;
3 years sales experience in a technical/mechanical sales environment
MS Office Suite (intermediate to advanced)
Valid (Code 8) Driver’s licence
Technical knowledge of products

HR Generalist

A national group of companies is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team. This person will be required between 2 branches within Johannesburg. We are looking for someone that is strong in transformation and development. You will report directly to the HR Manager.


Minimum 3 years HR Tertiary Qualification
Minimum 5 years of full HR Generalist experience in a high pressure, fast paced environment with a minimum of 100 to 200 employees
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Experience in navigating and utilising a Personnel Management system - preference VIP
Must have some IR experience and dealt with a union
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word (minimum Intermediate)
Must have driver’s licence and own car
